Fountain of the Tyrrhenian
Fontana del Tirreno in Piazza Venezia, this is a 1911 project by a sculptor and painter Pietro Canonica. Two statues of the Italian seas are at the foot of the national monument to Victor Emmanuel II, an allegory of the two seas, on the left is the Adriatic Sea called Fontana dell'Adriatico, here on the right is the fountain of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Fontana del Tirreno located ont eleft side and looking at squuare Piazza d'Aracoeli and Piazza di San Marco.
There are many monumental fountains in Rome, so these two fountains are not so popular as Trevi Fountain, but at the same time they remain very beautiful in one of the most popular places in the city.
